Thistle and Bard has always been an ever-evolving business, but there is a big event on the horizon that is about to change everything!

The Big Moving Sale

We are moving! After careful consideration (and the fact that the location Thistle and Bard currently occupies is up for sale by its owners), we've decided to take matters into our own hands, invest a HUGE amount of money, and move into our own OWNED property where we can design, create, and improve without the fear of being at anyone else's mercy.

This is the biggest leap of faith we have ever made.

2022 - The Thistle and Bard Studio

Not a New Chapter

This isn't a whole new chapter; this is a whole new book! It might be hard for you to believe that Thistle and Bard once started life in an attic bedroom. Over the years, it's grown up into a full fantasy range that could never have stayed in such a small space. So, 4 years ago (give or take) we moved to our current location. Right now you might be thinking: "Wow, will the next place be even bigger?

Actually, no. The intention is to radically downsize! But this time it will be all ours, and that is a vast improvement.

Small but Mighty

Our new space will be dedicated LESS to physical storage (though we will still have some) and more to art and product design. During our next phase of expansion, we want to offer our fantasy items across the world (where we can), and that requires us to do things a little differently. Instead of stocking vast quantities of items on location, we'll be leaning more heavily into local location warehousing. Not only do we hope that this will reduce shipping times for overseas customers, but it will open up our products to customes we had previously lost to politics and trade tariffs that have been slowly strangling us and almost every other micro-business on the planet!

2025/2026 - Thistle and Bard Adventures Started

Where Are We Now?

Right now, we are still viewing a number of potential locations to call Thistle and Bard home, and while we make preparations, we will be hosting a HUGE sale across all stocked products across the website. Moving stock is extremely costly, and rather than write it all off, we want you to grab everything you've wanted now, because we aren't going to guarantee that we will be restocking everything again. You can expect most designs to remain, but we have some very big plans for the new products we would like to have on sale...

2025 - Website Rebrand (a fully immersive fantasy shopping experience).

Our Moving Sale will last right up till just before moving day and you will have plenty of time to browse. But, like Cinderella at the ball, when the clock strikes midnight (and the keys are in our hands) the entire land of Thistle and Bard will close while we set ourselves back up. So don't delay too long!
